Interferences Dialog

Used to show the results of a interference detection in an animation playback. This dialog opens after using the Detect Interference tool and interferences are detected. Clicking on any row in the list box takes you to the selected interference.

Use the Previous Interference or Next Interference tools to see interfering elements of the interference prior or next to the currently selected interference in the list. The interfering elements are shown at the position that is expected at the time when the interference starts. However, elements that are not involved in the interference are still shown at their original position. Click on any row entry to reset the view to display all the elements at their original positions. In addition, use the Zoom, Isolate, and Fit together with Previous Interference and Next Interference tools to differentiate interfering elements of each interference.

Clear All Interferences


Clears all the interferences from the list box.

ANIMATOR INTERFERENCE CLEAR
Highlight

Highlights the selected interference.

Zoom

Zooms to the selected interference.

Isolate

Isolates the selected interference.

Note: If you single-click on a row entry when zoom, highlight or isolate is active, elements involved in the corresponding interference display at their original locations. If you double-click or click the icons to jump to the next or previous interference, elements involved in the corresponding interference display at the locations expected at the time when the interference occurs. Elements not involved in the selected interference display at their original locations.

Start

Defines the frame number of the beginning of the interference.

End

Defines the frame number of the end of the interference.

Name

Sets the unique name of the interference. Click in the field to change the name of the interference.

Type

Displays the type of interference, either Physical Clash or Clearance Violation Problem.

Enabled

If on, the selected interference displays during the animation playback.
